Half Way!! 6 Months!!

Time just flies on by.......Elijah is already 6 months. :) It is awesome to see the progression for me as a photographer how he takes to the camera and how we are able to sit him up for shots.

Here is a few shots of another family. Their oldest little boy is soooo cute!

Catch up!!

Today is a catch up day on getting all photo contracts sitting done and ready to be handed out by the end of this weekend. So while I do that I plan on this odd off and on rainy day (I know it is August in central California, we are suppose to have days and days in a row of 100 degree days). I am going to be posting some high lights of photo shoots that I have done in the last month. :)

Here are photos of a co-worker I earlier did some maternity photos which you can see in earlier post. This is her entire family.

GREEN!

I am extremely excited! I have found a company that I am planning to have Shannon S Photography start working along with. The company is called Wild Magnolia Design. In the next couple of months plan on seeing the new products that I will be able to offer to everyone. They offer products that are eco-friendly and that is going to start being what Shannon S Photography is all about.

2010 the year of planning

Right now I am taking a marketing class. Love it and hate it. Love that information that I am gaining, I getting new ideas for my business that will offered to my customers. Hate it because instead of having the time to put them into action I am in class trying to earn that degree. I can not wait until next year when I should be done with my BA so I can focus more of my time to really start to provide you, yes you with great photos and new products

So this year is definitely is a year of re-planning, re-designing, and re-inventing. Re-cycling :) a word to share with you about a direction Shannon S. Photography will be moving towards.

I did though just photography a wedding in Watsonville, Ca located about 20 min south of Santa Cruz. It was wonderful, who could complain when you have the opportunity to photograph on the beach?! Once I load I will share some of the highlights of that day. :)

Henry Cowell State Park-Day with the dogs!!

I completely forgot! Last weekend I took both of my dogs on a little easy hike at Henry Cowell State Park and then finished off the day at Seacliff (one of my favorite dog friendly beaches). Our newest member of our family Goober I was worried that he would not enjoy the water. But once in he could not get enough. If it was up to him he would have stayed in the water the entire time at the beach. Now I can not wait to take him to the lake!!

3 months already?!

It has been a couple weeks but I did find time in my busy summer schedule to take photos of Elijah who now is already the 3-4 months old. Crazy how time fly's by. Here are just some shots from that day. We plan to take photos at further locations especially now that he is getting older. The photo of Elijah and his older sister is extremely cute, one she will show off to his friends when he gets older. :) (isn't that what sisters are for?)

Can't wait for the 6-7 month mark!! It will be fall and that means great yellow, red, and brown foliage!
