Last weekend took some head shots of a an aspiring model.  Here are some samples of just some of those shots of the day. 

First time posting photos!

Here are just a couple shots taken on our adventurous trip to Lake Tahoe a couple weeks ago.  Wasn't able to take hardly any photos but plan to this summer. 

This week was pretty eventful.  After getting taxes done went on a small hike in Pleasenton Ridge regional park, then on Sunday visited Eugene O'Neil historical home then off to the "How to Fair".  I plan on making more trips out to my regional parks to work on my landscape photos.  Plan on seeing more to come.  

Marketing class

Taking a marketing class has really inspired me to push my business forward.  I am hoping to take some of the basic information to allow me to hone down on what I need to do.

Recently, I was told that I should be signed up with a site called istock.  A co-worker is a member and has some of his videos loaded for others to use.  He believed based on the couple photos I sold to another co-worker that I would do great on the site.  

Today I signed up in hopes to become apart of the istock community.  He said it is competitive lets hope I they realize my potential. 

Tahoe

Went to tahoe this weekend, storm was crazy! Wanted to take some photos while there but didnt' get to it. I am going to definitly plan a weekend of nothing but hiking around the lake to capture some of the most wonderful views in this country. Dont get me wrong even though the storm was crazy, south lake tahoe had some sun. On the top of Heavenly Ski Resort it was magical to see snow falling on the west side while looking down on the lake, then turn around to the right side and see Nevada sunny and dry with no snow.

CD cover

I was hoping this year to expand my services in other creative venues.  My brother's band is called Light in August.  They are hoping to present some of their music samples to a record company.  I was asked if I could possibly come up with a sample CD cover that they can present their product to the companies.  

My goal today is to see what I can do. He has given me an unrealistic date that he needs it by.  If I unable to get to this project it is something I wouldn't mind testing out.  

Today, I will be posting on wonderful Craigs List for services I may offer to perspective clients. 

Cookies, Cookies, Cookies

One of my boyfriends co-worker has started a cookie business.  They look and taste awesome!  She has already set up a website displaying some of the cookies that she has created for clients.  Today I emailed her to possibly set up a photo session for her and most importantly her cookies.  I would like to sort of create these photos that could be in food magazines.  If agreed to take these photos would allow me explore another style of photography. 

This really excites me!
