Round Valley Regional Preserve- Lopez Family 2019

I love when you can visit the same place over and over but end up with backgrounds that you have never captured before.  These trees have seen so many family's having moments captured by many photographers in the East Bay area, but not every session is the same.  I try to let the family and the area inspire me which leads towards most locations never being shot exactly the same. 

Baby Henry is sooo happy and loved.  Instead of parents looking at the camera with the smile, Henry decided to run the show with capturing us.

Love these!  The trees here are just fantastic and Marybel, Alex, and Xavier just complement their surrounds.  While I wanted to share some of my favorites from that day, the family sitting with the trees in the background.  The image of Xavier crying I just love because it truly reflects what happens during sessions.  It isn't all sunshine, perfect outfits, and smiling faces.  It is hard to be a baby model. 😉💖

High School Senior Photos- Calaveras Big Trees & Murphys, CA

Emily and her entourage in tow 😉 were such troopers as we spent a good amount of time in Calaveras Big Trees then ended our session in Murphys, CA.  It is so hard to truly capture the size of the sequoia trees, but I think we were able to capture a little this and that.  Even a photo inside of a fallen tree!  Emily even shared the small waterfall that is located behind the Murphys Historic Hotel, who would have known.  I have been in the downtown many times but never take the time to walk "behind the scenes". 
While there are many I have loaded believe me when I say, this is just a small amount from what was captured.  Congrats Emily!

Bronies Regional Park- Maternity September 2019

First off CONGRATS to the parents to be!  Super excited for you both.  This shoot was originally scheduled for this last weekend.  Koji is in the military and when finding out that he was going to be in town for a brief visit, I was so happy the stars aligned for us to bump up the photos one week earlier.  Amanda's dress just fits this background so well.  While this is their first baby they do have a fur baby which Luna would walk in and out of some of the photos.  ☀
